Smart Grocery Aisle Overrides & Spice Extensions (v1.0.15)
We improved how the smart shopping list categorizes items to keep your store runs friction-free, and optimized how crawlers read the website:
- Spices & Seasonings Fixed: Corrected an issue where ground spices (like ground cumin, paprika, turmeric, cloves, coriander, and allspice) fell through to the "Other" section. They are now correctly routed to the Pantry aisle.
- Aisle Collisions Fixed: Added logic to keep baking mixes from landing in Dairy & Eggs, and corrected a word-match issue where rolled oats accidentally categorized into Bakery instead of Pantry.
- Rich Schema Data: Added complete structured JSON-LD FAQ, Organization, and Product schemas so AI search agents correctly display our pricing and app specifications.
- Descriptive Image Alt Text: Rewrote all mockup image descriptions to improve accessibility and image-search performance.

Synchronized Pricing Tiers & Premium UI Features
To offer a lower entry cost barrier for families, we adjusted our subscription rates and refreshed the landing page experience:
- New $64.99 Yearly Rate: Updated App Store Connect and Google Play Console base plans to synchronize the yearly "All In" subscription tier to its lowest rate ever.
- Pricing Normalization: Reformatted the yearly plan card on the website to show its monthly equivalent ($5.41/mo billed yearly) with a "Save 40%" badge to match standard pricing periods.
- Founder Block Section: Added our personal story section explaining exactly why we built Family Meal Plan to eliminate dinner-scramble friction.
