Terms of Service

Welcome to Family Meal Plan, an application operated by DEER Studios LLC. By accessing or using our mobile application or website ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. User Guidelines & Expected Conduct

By using our App, you agree that you will not:

• Submit, upload, or generate any content (including recipes or images) that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or obscene.
• Use the App in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use of the App.
• Attempt to bypass our authentication, Reverse Engineer the AI functionality, or scrape our proprietary recipe database.

DEER Studios LLC reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these terms.

2. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing

Family Meal Plan operates on an auto-renewing subscription model processed natively through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
• Pricing: Pricing tiers (e.g., Monthly, Yearly) may vary by region or platform. All charges are processed securely via your OS platform logic.
• Cancellations: You may cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription at any time by navigating to your device's native App Store settings. We do not issue direct refunds; all refund requests must be routed through Apple or Google according to their respective store policies.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its entire original contents, features, branding, aesthetic styling, logos, and functionality are owned by DEER Studios LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Any non-personal, unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

4. User-Generated Content & AI Output

You retain ownership of any original recipes you privately upload to your account. However, by submitting a recipe to the "Community Cookbook" moderation queue, you grant DEER Studios LLC a non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and modify that content across the App.

Due to the nature of AI (Magic Importer), we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of scraped or digitized recipes. You agree to review algorithmic outputs for accurate ingredient measurements before cooking.

5. Limitation of Liability and Medical Disclaimer

Strict Liability Waiver: The recipes, dietary labels, and nutritional information provided within Family Meal Plan are for informational purposes only. DEER Studios LLC is not a medical professional or a nutritionist.

You agree that DEER Studios LLC shall not be held legally or financially liable for any adverse reactions, allergic reactions, foodborne illnesses, or injuries resulting from consuming or preparing recipes found within or uploaded to the App.

6. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Marketing

The App may contain affiliate marketing links or buttons to third-party retailers (e.g., Walmart, Amazon, Instacart). DEER Studios LLC is not responsible for the contents, safety, or fulfillment of orders placed on third-party domains.

7. Changes to the Terms

We may revise and update these Terms of Service from time to time in our sole discretion. We will notify active users of major structural changes. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
