This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of the Family Meal Plan mobile application and website (collectively, the "App"). Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our App.

We collect several types of information from and about users of our App, including:

• Identifiers: Such as your email address, first name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• User-Generated Content: Recipes you upload, meal plans you create, photos you submit, and preferences you select (e.g., dietary restrictions, disliked ingredients).
• Device & Usage Data: Information automatically collected by our servers, such as OS versions, device identifiers (e.g., iPhone models), crash logs, and how you interact with the App.

2. How We Collect Your Information

Direct Interactions

You provide information to us when you register for an account, subscribe to our premium services, submit recipes via our Magic Importer, or interact with our customer support.

Automated Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our App, we may use automatic data collection technologies (such as essential cookies and tokens) to collect certain information about your equipment and browsing actions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its personalized algorithms.
• To manage your account and subscription, processed securely via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play Store.
• To communicate with you, including sending push notifications for grocery reminders or customer support replies.
• To provide automated AI-powered features (e.g., generating recipes via Gemini AI).

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose aggregated, non-personally identifiable information about our users without restriction. We may disclose personal information to contractors, service providers, and third parties we use to support our business, specifically:

• Supabase: For secure database hosting and user authentication.
• Google Gemini: To process and digitize user-submitted recipes.
• RevenueCat / App Stores: To securely process subscription entitlements and payments (we do not process or store raw credit card numbers).

5. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Retailers

The App contains Monetization Sections and embedded affiliate links (e.g., Walmart, Amazon, Instacart). If you click these links, you will be directed to a third-party platform. We do not control these third-party platforms and are not responsible for their privacy statements. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

6. Account Permanence and Data Deletion

You may request to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from directly within the App's settings menu or by contacting our support team. Upon verifying the request, we will erase your personal identifiers and private recipes from our active databases.
